Praha 57 km. Kutná Hora 10 km. Benešov 10 km. Town in the valley of the river Sazava, nearby the picturesque Vysocina. Due to rain and wind erosion the Massiv of Chabericke skaly (339 m). North of the town in the highest point the Babka hill (440 m).
