Casa Doroteia in Carvoeiro is in a great location, very private and has good amenities. However, it does not fulfil its potential. The shower / bath in one bathroom was not working. The lighting is lugubrious with half of the light-bulbs not working. Toilet paper is rationed! (something I have never come across after 20 years of self-catering). Several of the screens and shutters stick. The driveway entrance is compromised by a tree on one side and a rocky border on the other, making it difficult to enter / exit. Last straw - most of the TV channels are in German (and it seems to be rented mostly to English speakers). All of these little niggles mean that, despite it being a nice house, I would not go back.

This winter we have had the plumber and special sewage cleaning company come to repair the bathroom.
All outdoor lamps have been replaced this winter. the key holder will check the state of the lights regularly. Furthermore, there are always many spare bulbs in the kitchen pantry, in case a bulb stops working.
The shutters on the second floor are in wood, there is a plan to replace them.
The owner have the standard satellite TV installation for rental villa TVs in the Algarve, i.e. Astra satellite. We have BBC World, CNN, TV5 and dozens of other international
channels, also some German.
The key holder will insure that it will be sufficient reserve of WC paper for the property.
We would be very pleased if you gave us another chance to convince you of our excellent services.

Koniecznie uzupelnic trzeba meble w lazienkach i pokojach.
Przydalaby sie klimatyzacja ale cóz dwie gwiazdki.
Mozna bardziej zadbac o ogród - pan który to robi udaje ze podlega nie mówiac o pieleniu

Dziekujemy bardzo za czas poswiecony na przekazanie nam swoich osobistych spostrzezen. Panstwa wskazówki daly nam okazje ponownego sprawdzenia i odpowiedniej weryfikacji poziomu uslug oraz jakosci naszych domów i apartamentów wakacyjnych. Wszystkie sugestie zostaly przekazane do dzialu obslugi Klienta Interhome, co poskutkowalo pozytywnymi zmianami w apartamencie.
Meble w apartamencie zostaly wymienione i uzupelnione nowymi. W czasie zimy przeprowadzono takze gruntowne prace ogrodowe, dzieki czemu stanowi on teraz przyjmne i zadbane miejsce, przystosowane do wypoczynku, co widoczne jest na nowo dodanych zdjeciach.
Klimatyzacja nie znajduje sie w standardzie tego obiektu, jednakze dostepne sa wiatraki, które mozna ustawic w dowolnym miejscu.
Dziekujemy za zrozumienie i mamy nadzieje, iz bedziemy mogli wkrótce powitac Panstwa w gronie naszych gosci korzystajac z oferty domów i apartamentów Interhome.

Eine sehr schöne Villa mit wirklich großzügigem Raumangebot. Der Pool ist traumhaft, die Terrasse am Abend im ersten Stock auch. Weniger gut waren die Kücheneinrichtung und das Bett, soll aber alles in nächster Zeit noch erneuert werden. Dann ist es mit Sicherheit eine sehr empfehlenswerte Urlaubsunterkunft. Der Service war sehr gut, Gärtner und Hausreinigung kamen regelmäßig und waren auch freundlich. Schön auch, dass das Stadtzentrum von Carvoeiro sowie ein weiterer kleiner Strand Praya Paraiso fußläufig gut erreichbar sind, immer nur den Berg hinunter.
