General: Residence de Eese is located in a forested area in Northwest Overijssel, a stone's throw from Drenthe and Friesland, and borders the De Woldberg and De Eese forest complex. The forest pond on the property was dug 140 years ago. The ground that was excavated then is characteristic of the entire area, hence the name The Hump.
