The park has various facilities including a heated open air swimming pool and various play equipment. In the high season the recreation team provides many great activities. There is a charming restaurant/Grand Café. The surrounding villages are certainly worth a visit. In the spring, the Bulb Region is also wonderful. Such cities as Leiden and The Hague are certainly worth a visit as well. Other attraction in the area: Duinrell with the Tikibad in Wassenaar, the Keukenhof in Lisse, Madurodam, the Omniversum and Museon in the Hague, Naturalis in Leiden and Sea Life Centre in Scheveningen. We've almost forgotten the most important ingredient: the beach. It is simple to reach and guaranteed fun. Recreation park Noordwijkse Duinen is located in the Noordwijk dunes not far from the beach. There are varied facilities on the park, including a heated open air swimming pool. The park has the international Green Key mark of quality. This means that it has exceeded legal regulations and extra measures have been taken to assure the sustainability and environment of the area.
